HR Operational

Our operational HR package provides support to your school through all stages of the employment contract life cycle.

Working closely with your preferred payroll partner, our operations packages effectively and efficiently develop, deliver and use HR solutions that have a productive impact on managing your workforce.

Depending on the package you purchase, you could access the following:

  • Unlimited access to our helpline from 8.30am to 5pm – Monday to Friday
  • Electronic Personal file maintenance
  • Processing of pre-employment checks, including DBS*, Medical screening*, QTS,
  • Prohibition (*please note additional charges apply for these)
  • Processing new starters, leavers and contract changes
  • Liaison with your preferred payroll provider to effect all pay changes
  • Telephone and remote SIMS Personnel support
  • School Workforce census support

Academy Conversion Support

Conversion to become an Academy or join an established Academy requires staff to transfer to the Academy Trust under regulations referred to as ‘TUPE’. These regulations place legal and statutory responsibilities on the Trust and the current employer.

Our HR conversion packages include all aspects of the TUPE process to ensure the smooth transfer of your staff.

The package you choose will be identified according to your individual school needs. However, rest assured, we will take you through the process from start to finish, ensuring minimal disruption and worry to you and your employees.
