Given the challenges presented by the Coronavirus outbreak, we would like to take the opportunity to set out the Company’s position with regards to the activation of our business continuity plan.

We would firstly like to reassure you that as a company we are responding to government advice as it is issued. The health and safety of our staff, customers, and stakeholders will continue to be at the centre of our planning and decision making around service delivery.

Given the speed at which the situation is currently changing in the UK, we would like to provide you with the reassurance that we have an infrastructure in place which enables us to continue to deliver our core services.

Taking Measures to Reduce the Risks of Spreading the Virus
Current government advice recommends avoiding “non-essential” travel and contact with others, including where possible working from home.

At Services 4 Schools (S4S), we operate an agile working environment, which facilitates the remote delivery of the majority of our services and support.

In the event of a blanket closure of schools being announced, S4S staff will continue to be contactable during our published office hours to provide support and advice via telephone or email as required.

S4S Staff who are (or who are living with others who are) experiencing any symptoms linked to the virus will be instructed to self-isolate.

In the meantime, please help us keep our staff safe by notifying us of any circumstances at your school that may affect, or increase the risk of us delivering services to you via:

• Email info@services4schools.org.uk
• Telephone 0333 772 1272

Visiting our offices

To minimise any potential risks, with immediate effect, it is requested that anyone who is experiencing any symptoms such as; shortness of breath, cough, high temperature is requested to not visit our company offices.
Where possible meetings, will be carried out via telephone or video conferencing, or rearranged to suit.

Due to certain countries being identified as having been severely affected by the virus, we would ask that any visitors who have recently travelled to these countries (within the last 14 days) also refrain from attending our offices, before contacting us using the details above.

All visitors will be requested to confirm that they are not experiencing any symptoms or if they have travelled within the last 14 days.

As is the expectation of all S4S employees, we would kindly request that all visitors to S4S follow the guidelines from the World Health Organisation on infection control:

• frequently clean hands by using alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water
• when coughing and sneezing cover mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue – throw tissue away immediately and wash your hands.
• avoid close contact with anyone who has fever or a persistent cough.

We are monitoring developments and government advice to the situation and will provide updates via our website, email and social media where necessary.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries:
