Children missing from home or care - 2026
Our training on children missing from home or care is designed to equip educators with the essential knowledge and skills to understand and respond to the complex and often hidden risks these children may face. This course explores key aspects of safeguarding and emotional wellbeing, including how to recognise indicators of vulnerability, exploitation, or distress, respond appropriately and sensitively when a child goes missing or returns, and implement effective strategies to create a safe, supportive, and protective environment where children feel heard, valued, and encouraged to rebuild stability and trust.
