Senior Payroll Officer
Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Officer to join our HR Business Support team at Services 4 Schools Ltd. This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end payroll function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of payroll services for our customers.
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience in a senior payroll role within the education or public sector
- Proven Line Management experience
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, tax, and pension schemes
- Experience with payroll systems
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Must be agile, focussed and Resilient in a pressurised working environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting
